Just got out of class from the last one with the canadian dude. Can’t remember his name, though he is definately the best professor i’ve had the priviledge of listening to during my time at this school. Very inspiring, confusing and especially fun lectures.
Wednesday we focused on something called “tetrads”. Pretty interesting stuff, although hard at first. It’s basically about breaking down a “ground” into four different aspects, and through this technique, discovering new ways of looking at things and find common denominations between things that at first seem different. I think i got the hang of it at the end. Maybe not as good as the professor has (for obvious reasons) but it’s a start. I hope we’ll dig deeper into this later in the education.
This last lecture, was a bit heavier. We spoke about Marx and other old intelligent men. Nothing that really interests me, but i’m lucky we had that professor otherwise i’d be bored out of my mind. He basically told us we’ll forget everything we learn during our time at school which was a very.. interesting approach to it. Maybe he’s right. I can’t recall much from highschool, but i suspect it’s there somewhere in the back of my head pointing me in the right direction. So i guess that’s what he meant in some sense.
Pretty bummed out this part of the education is almost over. It’s been the best part and i’d be very disappointed if these kinds of classes aren’t represented in other parts of the three years i’m supposedly gonna study here.
That’s all for now.
